Kingsway Golf Centre, near Melbourn, is preparing to welcome families and visitors to a special Family Fun Day this summer, with activities, competitions and fundraising events planned for all ages.
Our team visited the centre and received a warm welcome from Jack, the manager, and had the opportunity to meet Hazel, who recently became a member. Hazel spoke about the friendly atmosphere and supportive community she has experienced since joining, highlighting the centre’s appeal to people of all ages and abilities.
Whether visitors are experienced golfers, beginners looking to try something new or families searching for an enjoyable day out, Kingsway Golf Centre offers a range of activities to bring people together.
The centre’s Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday 4 July, offering a range of attractions for the local community to enjoy while raising funds for Sue Ryder.
Visitors can look forward to:
Free face painting for children
Free Jurassic Links Adventure Golf for children when accompanied by a paying adult
A barbecue serving hot dogs and burgers
A raffle raising money for Sue Ryder
Games, competitions and prizes for all ages
Organisers are encouraging families, friends and neighbours to attend and join in the fun. The event will also provide an opportunity to support Sue Ryder, with funds raised helping to contribute to its charitable work.
More Activities Planned for the Summer Holidays
The Family Fun Day is just one of the activities planned at Kingsway Golf Centre, with further family events expected throughout the summer holidays.
These will include opportunities to try the centre’s golf simulators, alongside activities designed to appeal to a wide range of ages and abilities.
